I am a third-year student at Michigan State University College of Law with a passion towards the issues that arrive at the intersection of law and technology. My love of learning and knowledge drives my relentless pursuit to stay updated with the evolving, ever-changing legal system.

I currently work for MSU College of Law as both a Research and Innovation Assistant. As an Innovation Assistant, I work with the Director of LegalRnD – ‘The Center for Legal Services Innovation’ to create student programming focused on legal technology, lean thinking, improving the delivery of legal services and representing LegalRnD in the legal field. As a Research Assistant, I work on the Law Firm Innovation Index (www.legaltechinnovation.com/), which focuses on innovation efforts by Am Law 200 firms. I also work for BARBRI Bar Review as a Marketing Intern, where I partner with the Director of Social Media and the Social Media Team to manage the corporation’s social media presence.

This past summer I worked as a summer intern at LexisNexis in their Large Law department where I assisted AmLaw 100 firms with document automation, knowledge management, litigation support, and managed technology solutions. Prior to working at LexisNexis, I worked for an Am Law 200 firm, the Governor of Michigan, and multiple state representatives. After I graduate and take the bar in summer 2018, I plan to use my strong professional background with leadership roles in an educational environment as well as experience in various legal and marketing capacities in a career that leverages process, data, and technology within the legal realm.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, cooking, volunteering, learning new things, and spending time with my friends and family. I graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors of Arts in Criminal Justice, Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and Minor in Spanish in three years, Cum Laude.

Feel free to follow me on Twitter and connect on LinkedIn to continue the conversation, I hope you enjoy my blog!
